  1. Know your Numbers.
    It's important for you to know how your practice is operating on a daily basis. Understand your production levels and expenses and focus on either increasing your production levels or keeping them consistent. 

 

  1. Get your Practice Appraised.
    It is important to know what your practice is worth prior to going to market. Work with a team who understands practice appraisals and will work to get you fair market value. 

 

  1. Prepare and Build your Professional Team.
    Prepare your CPA, attorney, broker and/or financial planners and have them work together to assist with getting you to your ultimate goal of transitioning your practice.
